Our 7th Annual event is just around the corner, and we’re looking forward to hosting the Vancouver startup community on our virtual platform.
You may be wondering what to expect in our online event. So we’ve put together a helpful event guide to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience! Safe travels (to our online event!)✈️

Welcome aboard VSW Flight 2020!

Meet Vivian and Katty, and your eventcraft co-chairs👩🏻✈️👩🏻✈️. On behalf of Vancouver Startup Week and the entire cabin crew, welcome aboard VSW Flight 2020 with non-stop service from our screen to yours.
Sessions
In sessions, you will find all the virtual events hosted by members of our frequent flyer program. Feel free to join any session that you like.
NOTE: There will be concurrent sessions taking place, so be sure to mark down the session you’re most interested in to avoid missing out.
Networking
In the networking section, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and mingle with other passengers at a safe distance. Imagine this experience to be like a speed dating event, but slightly less awkward.
NOTE: Be sure you’re camera-ready when you click the blue “READY” button. You’ll be matched with another attendee for some face time!
VSW Expo
This is the section where you will find all of our amazing sponsors and event partner booths! We encourage you to reach out to these amazing organizations to learn more about how they’re contributing to the Vancouver startup community.
Schedule
You can find the “Schedule” section to plan out your experience. The more sessions you attend, the more you’ll learn! We encourage you to login and save these events to your calendar so you don’t miss out.
Chat
The chat function will be the place to connect with other attendees during a session. You’ll see that in each session there will be a chat function where you can ask speakers those hard hitting questions!
Giving back
In addition to your in-flight entertainment, we have partnered up with Vancouver General Hospital Foundation, DJ Neky the Kid, DJ Krista and DJ Pri to raise money for their Most Urgent Needs Fund. This Fund is aimed at raising money to ensure hospitals and community health centres are equipped with the tools and resources they need to provide vital care and move research forward to change the trajectory of disease.
